On 17 June 2026, on the occasion of the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, CARI organized a webinar dedicated to the issues at stake for COP17 of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), which will take place in Mongolia. 

To mark World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, join a multi-stakeholder webinar to explore the links between the lessons learned from Désertif’actions 2026 and the key issues at the UNCCD COP17, which will take place in Ulaanbaatar this August.

The webinar “Facilitating the transformation of agricultural and livestock systems for greater drought resilience” will take place on Wednesday 17 December from 2pm to 4pm (GMT+1) on Zoom. Registration is required.

The webinar “Territorial governance: facilitating the role of local authorities in drought resilience in the territories” will take place on Tuesday 16 December from 2pm to 4pm (GMT+1) on Zoom, upon registration.
