This workshop, held in a hybrid format at the premises of the El Argoub association in Laghouat, with the participation of remote speakers. It brought together some twenty stakeholders from the agricultural sector, research, institutions and civil society to identify the technical, organisational and political levers needed to strengthen the resilience of the agricultural and pastoral sector in the face of increasingly frequent droughts.

The French Water Partnership, with the support of CARI, Agropolis International, EAT and AIRMF, is organising the national workshop “Agriculture, Water and Territories: coping with drought together” on Friday 3 October 2025 at Agropolis International in Montpellier.
pS-Eau, Cité Unies France and the Water Coalition are organising a preparatory workshop on “How to reduce the vulnerability of territories to drought” on Tuesday 7 October from 2pm to 5.30pm at the Jardin d’Agronomie Tropicale Tropicale (Building 1, 1st floor – Amphi – see map in attachment) in Nogent-sur-Marne, France, with the possibility of participating remotely (registration required).
