the Palestinian Agricultural Institutions Coalition (PAIC) organised a national workshop in Ramallah on 2 September

This workshop, held in a hybrid format at the premises of the El Argoub association in Laghouat, with the participation of remote speakers. It brought together some twenty stakeholders from the agricultural sector, research, institutions and civil society to identify the technical, organisational and political levers needed to strengthen the resilience of the agricultural and pastoral sector in the face of increasingly frequent droughts.

On 7 August, CNCOD and ReSaD organised a workshop on drought and land degradation in Niger.

The NGO Service d’Appui aux Initiatives Locales de Développement (SAILD) organised a preparatory workshop for Désertif’actions on 23 July in Maroua. The meeting, which attracted some thirty participants, provided an opportunity to take stock of the effects of drought on production systems in Cameroon.

The ACDD (Association Citoyenneté et Développement Durable), WWF North Africa and the IRA (Institut des Régions Arides) organised a workshop on 18 and 19 June in collaboration with a number of partners, including the MEDD, the OSS, regional administrations and associations in southern Tunisia.
