
El Argoub is organising a preparatory workshop “on resilience in the face of drought in Algeria” on Tuesday 16 September at its headquarters in Laghouat, Algeria.

El Argoub is a local association bringing together farmers involved in agro-ecological approaches. Its strategy is based on (i) promoting date palm cultivation and preserving local varieties, (ii) developing an ongoing training programme in agro-ecological practices and (iii) passing on knowledge and know-how between generations.
This workshop has been organised to promote dialogue and exchange on the transformation of agricultural and pastoral systems, the management of our water resources, the resilience of our rural territories and the livelihoods of our communities.
This half-day workshop will focus on group work, recommendations and advocacy messages.
