Fête de la Musique concert with Ms. Mariam Koné

French institute. Open to everyone.

Singer-songwriter, Mariam Koné studied music in Bamako, Mali. The exchange programs in which she participated allowed her to perform in many shows around the world, before winning in 2012 the “Les Talents de la Cité” competition of the ‘Festival sur le Niger’ in Ségou under the direction of Cheick Tidiane Seck. A first album, inspired by traditional instruments, then followed.

This artist has already collaborated with the CARI association in the creation of a song for raising awareness of sustainable land management in the Sahel: Dja Kele.
